Abbey Plc are a major housebuilder quoted on the ESM in Dublin, and the AIM Market in London, with operations in the UK, Ireland and Prague.

Abbey selected EasyBuild after a very careful consideration of construction software packages in the market.

Nov 2011 - News: EasyBuild Middle East And North Africa

EasyBuild is delighted to announce the appointment of Leyan AlSharq Technology Consultancy (LSTC) as our sole distribution agents to promote and sell EasyBuild products in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

The countries covered by this agreement are Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Yemen, U.A.E., Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Libya and Algeria.

This re-seller agreement is in conjunction with the sale of EasyBuild software to Etihad Al-Mumlaka Contracting, based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Sep 2011 - News: Pacific Building Glasgow go EasyBuild

We are very pleased to announce Pacific Building Ltd in Glasgow Scotland have signed up to EasyBuild and will be integrating EasyBuild with Valesco Estimating software from Crest Software.

Pacific carry out fit out contracts for many prestigious high street retail corporations.

Other solutions considered included Redsky, Integrity/Mardak and Sage.

We are very pleased to welcome Paragon Management UK to EasyBuild. Paragon Management, with offices in the city of London carry out specialist fit out and refurbishment contracts for many prestigious clients. Paragon considered a number of solutions including COINS, Redsky and Sage, before making a decision on EasyBuild.

Wiggett Construction in Oldham have successfully gone live on EasyBuild. Wiggett carry out both Contracting and House Building projects and EasyBuild has all the neccesary modules to mange all of these requirements. Other solutions considered included Sage.

Oct 2010 - News: EasyBuild iPad integration

EasyBuild always uses the latest technology to develop our products and now we are proud to present our EasyBuild Mobile Applications for Works Orders, Maintenance and Facilities Management.

Linking directly to the latest iPad or iPhone devices, operatives in the field can now synchronise data in real time with our EasyBuild product range.

Companies engaged in Reactive and Planned Maintenance, Facilities Management and Works Orders can manage and schedule jobs using our Works Orders system, using our smart traffic lights and white board consoles.

Operatives in the field receive full details of jobs allocated to them and as jobs progress or complete, they can enter notes on the device and the data is updated in real time and synchronised with the central system.

We are pleased to announce integration between EasyBuild and Valesco Estimating and Valuations from Crest Software. Valesco users can set up EasyBuild costheads as part of their Estimating libraries, therefore enabling full project budgets to be imported into EasyBuild from Valesco.

Sep 2010 - News: Works Orders latest users

Some recent users of the EasyBuild Works Orders system include The London Property Repair Company, John Merison Building Maintenance Contractors Ltd and Durkan Group.

EasyBuild Works Orders is designed for companies that carry out planned and reactive maintenance activities, such as Property Maintenance, Service or Property companies.

This sophisticated, yet simple to use building industry software enables Works Order jobs to flow through the system efficiently, from initial logging of the call in our Call Centre program, through to resource allocation and management of outstanding jobs. The module also includes construction accounts software that allows reporting and invoicing to be linked directly to EasyBuild Clients invoicing.

There’s also a facility to schedule planned maintenance jobs linked to property and equipment assets, making it a complete construction project management software system for property maintenance jobs.

Sep 2010 - News: EasyBuild Requisitions Manager

EasyBuild Requisitions Manager manages the creation of purchase order requisitions for materials and plant hire from site. Requistions can be approved by appropriate personnel prior to becoming visible to the Buying Office for conversion into Purchase Orders. A full history of work flow is available to site personnel, showing all requisitions, converted orders, rejections and items pending approval.

Sep 2010 - News: Sloyan Doyle go live

Liverpool based construction group Sloyan Doyle have successfully gone live on EasyBuild, replacing their previous Axim system. EasyBuild has also been fully integrated with the INVU document management system. Sloyan Doyle carry out general contracting, civil works, demolition and waste management.

Crossways Scaffolding based in Leeds and Fourways Plant based in London and Cambridge have chosen the EasyBuild route, replacing Sage.

In addition, Fourways Plant have replaced their previous Connect Plant Hire/Sage systems with EasyBuild Plant Hire and sales system.

Nov 2009 - News: EasyBuild Subcontractors KPI

EasyBuild Subcontractors Module now includes features to record Key Performance Indicators (KPI's). Subcontractors can be scored against an industry standard set of key parameters, such as health and safety, quality of workmanship and working to budget and on time. KPI data can then be asnslysed across all Projects and Subcontractors, providing a valuable database of performance data.

Nov 2009 - News: EasyBuild Value Manager

EasyBuild Value Manager is a new module that allows creation of customer quotations, project budgets and materials "shopping lists" for purchase. EasyBuild Value Manager then provides management of incoming customer orders and creation of cumulative valuations based on percentage of works complete, which automatically link to EasyBuild Clients module for sales invoice generation.

RS Response, Electrical Contractors in Milton Keynes have "connected" with EasyBuild, and as part of their implementation have also adopted EasyBuild Value Manager to create and manage their customer quotations and project valuations. Other solutions considered included Causeway and Sage.

We are pleased to announce the recent signing of two of South Africa's most significant Construction groups.

Gordon Verhoef & Krause (www.gvk.co.za) will be implementing EasyBuild across all of their regional offices in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth.

Erbacon Group (www.erbacon.co.za) are implementing EasyBuild from their head office in Durban across a variety of construction, civil engineering, commercial and industrial building companies within their organisation.

Jun 2009 - News: EasyBuild "White Card" System

EasyBuild has launched an exciting NEW feature to our product suite, the Subcontractor Task Management System (also known as a "White Card" system).

The Task Management solution allows the entry of pre-defined tasks for a Project to be allocated to Subcontractors for a defined number of plots/units with full bar-code scanning capabilities.

Each Task per Project and Plot/Unit is allocated a Unique ID Number and a Bar Code.

Once the Contract Manager signs off the completed Task, either the Contract Manager or the Accounting team can either enter the Task Unique ID Number or simply scan the Bar-Code to certify the Subcontractors work for payment authorisation. Couldn’t be simpler!

The new solution not only streamlines the whole subcontractor certification process but puts strict measures in place to prevent Subcontractors claiming for the same task on more than one occasion.

EasyBuild is delighted to announce an exciting new Health and Safety Management System built around Tablet Computer technology, which allows crucial HSE data to be captured on site, using the latest in Forms based software.
