About Our Team

We’ve come a long way since starting out in 2004 as a specialist Construction Software Developer. Privately owned with hands-on directors, sector-focused, who are dynamic, innovative and thrive on making an impact within the industry.

EasyBuild is extremely proud of the team we’ve assembled. Initially numbering a handful of individuals, EasyBuild has grown organically since its inception. Our team is made up of highly-qualified, talented and driven professionals each with their own area of expertise.

Carol Massay
Chief Executive Officer

Carol joined EasyBuild in 2015 as Chief Executive Officer, to strategically grow the business to become one of the UK’s preferred construction software providers. In a highly competitive sector where margins are typically very tight, it is important as a CEO to have a good understanding of the day to day challenges customers face.

Carol has over 30 years of experience working within construction, including 15 years within technology. She was previously Finance Manager for 6 years at a top 10 house builder and for 13 years at an Irish based contractor. With this experience she moved into construction technology with a provider where she stayed for 13 years, her roles included: Head of Professional Services and Strategic Relationship Manager whereby she helped implement solutions and cultivate relationships with a number of top 100 construction businesses.

Having a detailed knowledge and extensive experience within the construction industry, Carol is known for establishing and maintaining strong relationships at all levels and being a trusted advisor.

Patrick McGowan
Chief Technology Officer

Patrick is the founding director of EasyBuild, he was previously Financial Controller and IT Manager at Durkan Group until 2004. Patrick originally developed EasyBuild in collaboration with the commercial teams for Durkan, as a replacement for their incumbent systems due to operational inefficiencies with their previous solutions.

It was his background as a construction accountant that allowed him to develop EasyBuild as an industry leading solution built from the ground up, by a construction person for construction people.

Today Patrick is Chief Technology Officer at EasyBuild leading the roadmap and delivery of future developments to our solutions.
